Today, SNK have announced the release window for Samurai Shodown. The game will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One during June 2019. The Nintendo Switch version was also confirmed for a Q4 release. It seems like the PC version doesn’t have a release window at this time.
Dispite it being a new game, Samurai Shodown isn’t really a direct sequel. The game takes place before the first game and events after the fifth. The game will feature 16 fighters with additional fighters added as DLC. In addiction, the game will feature Dojo, Practice, online and a traditional story mode.
