Sonic Unleashed & Aliens vs Predator Now Playable On Xbox One

Sega Europe announced today on Twitter that Sonic Unleashed which originally appeared on the Xbox 360 is now backward compatible with the Xbox One.

Sonic Unleashed was originally launched in the Xbox 360 in 2008. The story follows Sonic as he attempts to restore the world after his nemesis Doctor Eggman shatters it with a powerful laser to unleash Dark Gaia, an ancient evil.

The gameplay is split into daytime stages and nigh times stages. Daytimes stages is the traditional Sonic platforming at breakneck speeds in third person and 2D side-scroller. The nigh time levels see Sonic transform into a Werehog, where the gameplay focuses on platforming and combat.

The game is currently £11.99 on the Xbox Store.


Sega also announced that Aliens vs Predator is also back compatible today.

Aliens vs. Predator is a first-person shooter video game developed by Rebellion Developments in 2010 and published by Sega. The game is a reboot based on the Alien vs. Predator franchise. The game allows you to play as a Marine, a Predator or Alien and featured online play.
