SEGA Mega Drive Classics Coming to Nintendo Switch This Winter

Following the success of its PS4 and Xbox One debuts earlier this year, SEGA Mega Drive Classics is set to release both digital and physical editions on Nintendo Switch this Winter with some exclusive new features.

Following the SEGA AGES titles announced last week and set to launch during the Tokyo Game Show, SEGA continues its ardent, Winter conquest of bringing classic SEGA titles to the ever so portable Switch. From Sonic classics, to cult favourites like Golden Axe and Altered Beast alongside a menagerie of other titles spanning the gamut from beat ’em ups, puzzlers and shooters to arcade side-scrollers and a few hidden gems in its impressive collection. With over 50 games to play on the go, Switch owners can also look forward to same-screen local co-op, using a joy-con each, whilst the likes of online multiplayer, achievements, mirror modes, rewind and save states also make a return.
