Taiko no Tatsujin is a popular arcade rhythm drum game in the Japanese market, with queues of eager school students holding a fistful of yen just to play this game with their friends. The game mimics the playing of a smaller toy version of the traditional taiko drum in a fast-paced drum rhythm game. Taiko no Tatsujin will get their last drumroll this fall on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in the form of two exclusive games.
In Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum N Fun for the Switch, players can use motion controls to play the drums, take part in rhythm-based mini-games, and unlock bonus crossover characters(Such as Kirby, Splatoon 2 etc) to fight your way to the top as the best Taiko Drummer. Play against your friends of up to 4 player party mode, while jamming out to over 70 iconic songs taken from the likes of Dragon Ball Z, Neon Genesis Evolution, and Super Mario Odyssey.
For people who don’t own a Switch yet, you can still rock out to drum solos on the PlayStation 4 with Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session. The PlayStation 4 version of the game doesn’t fall short either, as you can play with friends with new added challenges such as ranked mode, versus and online battles. Got a really good friend you can’t beat? now you can practice and battle your friend’s online ghost data based on the way they play, get prepared for the next time you play. Also Get to play guest sessions with exclusive characters such as Hatsune Miku, Heihachi Mishima and many more. Players will be offered more customisability by unlocking costumes and sound effects for your own Taiko no Tatsujin mascot.
